Lisans iptaline itiraz!

Avustralyalı ragbi oyuncusu Israel Folau, sosyal medyadan yaptığı açıklamalar nedeniyle lisansını iptal eden Avustralya Ulusal Ragbi Ligi yönetiminin kararına itiraz etti.

Lig yönetimi tarafından Avustralya basınına yapılan açıklamada, Folau'nun tartışmalara neden olan sosyal medya paylaşımı nedeniyle lisansının iptal edilmesi kararına itirazda bulunduğu duyuruldu.

Avustralya Milli Takımı'nda 73 kez görev alan Folau, Instagram hesabından paylaştığı mesajda, "Alkolik, hırsız, eşcinsel, yalancı, ateist, putperest ve zina yapan insanlar, cehennem sizi bekliyor." ifadesini kullanmıştı.

Paylaşımın, birliğin savunduğu kapsayıcı kültüre aykırı olması gerekçesiyle Avustralya ekibi New South Wales Waratahs'ta forma giyen 30 yaşındaki Folau'nun lisansının iptal edildiği açıklanmıştı.
